SME Business Forum has been initiated by SME Chamber of India on 3rd May 2008 and formerly known as the “SME Business Club” and launched at the hands of Dr. C. Rangarajan - Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister & Former Governor of Reserve Bank of India at Mumbai in the presence of Mr. C. B. Bhave - Chairman, Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mr. Dinesh Rai - Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Mr. G. N. Bajpai - Former Chairman, SEBI, Mr. T. C. Venkat Subramaniam - CMD, EXIM Bank of India and Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe Founder and President - SME Chamber of India & CMD - Macro Group of Companies.
SME Business Forum platform will provide opportunities to the members to participate at 24 meetings in various cities in India but mainly at Mumbai, where, members can meet entrepreneurs and heads of corporates and other sectors for enhancement of business and contacts. Other similar platforms or BNI provides opportunity to participate at only one chapter. SME Business Forum will be a unique platform where members can spend more time for networking and will be given sufficient time slot for presenting business ideas and concepts as well as promote and market products and services.
Entrepreneurs or senior executives have to register as the member by paying membership fee. Membership fee includes managing business meetings and providing guidance and support for business growth. The member will get an opportunity to associate with the Forum and SME Chamber of India to participate in various business meetings and at other events organised by the Chamber and will get guidance and support for business growth and expansion.
Yes. You can become member if you are interested to enhance your contacts and business.
Yes of course you have to pay delegate registration fee for covering breakfast and lunch at various meetings. But members will get complimentary participation for cocktails and gala dinner organised at various cities.
No. You do not have to pay any referral fee or commission to Forum or Chamber for exploring of business leads. But, you can pay referral fee or commission to any other participant if they provide you any business through these meetings. The commercial terms will be decided at your own risk.
Once you enrol as the member, your profile will be shared with interested companies and will give you opportunities to promote your products and services through SME Chamber of India at National and International level. SME Chamber of India will also support you to channelise finance and investment, in international cooperation and resolving your issues and problems. You may nominate yourself for various awards and you will also get opportunities for sharing your success stories through SME Connect magazine and support for your business growth and expansion.
